Obituary for William "Mike" Westwood
Mike Westwood of Cheraw, Colorado peacefully entered into rest March 29, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born February 9, 1941 to William Sheldon and Grace Genevieve Westwood in Los Angeles, California.
Mike is survived by his wife of 61 years, Katherine Westwood, son, Mike Westwood, two sisters; Suzanne Figueroa and Margret Rey, and brother, Tommy Westwood.
He is preceded in death by his son Mark Westwood who died June 4,1994.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1958. He served as a firefighter and was honorably discharged in 1966.
He was a volunteer of the Palmer Lake Volunteer Fire Department for 38 years. He owned Westwood Repairs for 45 years. He was a master mechanic and welder., and natural teacher. He will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Cheraw Baptist chapel with a meal at 12:00 Noon followed by a Memorial Service. Arrangements were entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
