Obituary for Dennis Guerrero
On July 16th, 2016, Dennis Guerrero went to be with the Lord. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado, December 16, 1965 to Joaquin "Larry" and Dora Guerrero. Dennis was 50 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joaquin "Larry" Guerrero, nephews, Jacob Abel and Tyler James, and great nephew Baby Jase. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Laurie Ann Guerrero, his mother, Dora (Martinez) Guerrero of Pueblo, his in laws "mom and dad" Cora and Henry Gonzales, his brothers, Bob, Gary, Victor, and Bill of Pueblo, brother, Larry of Colorado Springs, and brother, Ken of New Mexico.
He is also survived by his sisters, Kathy of Colorado Springs and Betty of Denver, his brothers in law, Earl (Leona) of Pueblo, and Abel (Brenda) of Idaho, his sisters in law Amy of Walsenburg, Iris of Pueblo, Loretta (Don) of Canon City, and Lisa (Tony) of Pueblo West. Special mention: Sonya "Little Buddy", Dave "brosky" (Melissa), Karen Bourdouklis, Lee Hall, and Jarred. Dennis is also survived by numerous aunts, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and friends. Dennis was hard working, intelligent, generous, loving, and had a great sense of humor. He worked as an IT manager for 10+ years and was a jack of all trades, lending a helping hand to anyone in need. His favorite things to do included, spending as much time as possible with his best friend and wife Laurie, computer whizzing, and doing several projects with his father in law "dad".
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M Saturday, July 23, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Walsenburg. Father Stephen Olamolu will be officiating.
