Betty C. Zamora of Manzanola, Colorado entered into rest, February 13, 2017 in her Manzanola home surrounded by family.
She was born May 24, 1924 in Aguilar, Colorado, to Beatrice and Juan de Dios Cruz. She was 92 years of age. Betty is survived by her daughter, Carmen (Claudio) Vigil and her family Mark, Monica, Erica, Marcus, Shoshawna, Sebastian, Vida, Lorenzo, daughter, Priscilla Paugh and her family, Josh, Bailey, Tyler, Daughter Vicky (Keith) Shirinoka and her family, Andrew, Sean, Avian, Leland, Robert, Caleb, her son, Manual (Dora) Zamora and their family Jude, Michaela, Jude Jr., Dimaggio, son, Johnny Zamora, Selena, Jonathan and Betty’s other grandchildren Chris, Brian, Ruby James, Amber, Mya, James Blea, Sonny Blea, Sister, Rita Castillo, brother in-law John Blea and several nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded by her parents, Beatrice and Juan de Dios Cruz, husband, Manual C. Zamora, children Albert Blea, Veronica Gonzales and Andrew Zamora, granddaughter, Roxanne Blea.
Betty enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, she loves to cook and she was a volunteer at the Manzanola Catholic Church for many years. She especially loved spending time with her family. Betty will be missed by many.
A Holy Rosary will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday February 20th at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rocky Ford followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
