Obituary for Gerald Bradley Holcomb
Gerald Bradley Holcomb, entered into rest, April 1, 2017 in Colorado Springs, CO. Bradley was born on February 23rd, 1985 in Las Animas, CO. One of the last infants to be delivered within the city limits of Las Animas. His character was built on integrity, firm, fairness and consistency in all that he did. He was able to use these core values to excel in his professional life first beginning with CCA (Corrections Corporations of America) where he was admired and stood out with amongst the most professional corrections staff in the career field. After his 7 years with the Bent County Correctional Facility he found employment at The Citadel Mall of Colorado Springs where he reached the rank of Lieutenant and was recognized by the El Paso County Police Department for assisting in apprehending a drug dealer in the mall with thousands of dollars worth of drugs and cash on hand. Recently, Bradley had been going through the Police Academy at Pike Peaks Community College so that he could join the Police Force in the Colorado Springs region before reaching his professional goal of joining the Colorado State Patrol. Again, during his tenure at the academy he was at the top of his class, admired by his peers and instructors alike for his deep commitment to the job, and strived to set the bar for the profession he set his life on. Gerald Bradley Holcomb was preceded in passing by his paternal Grandmother Jeanne Francis Holcomb and his maternal Grandparents Anastacia “Tita” and Esmael “Mike” Trujillo. He is survived by his parents Inez Trujillo-Holcomb and John Holcomb of Las Animas, CO, his sister Tracy “Jeanne” Holcomb of Las Animas, CO, and his two brothers Sean “Luke” and Ian “Russell” Holcomb of Swink, CO, as well as his fiancé, Nathan John Mullen of Colorado Springs, CO. In addition to his immediate family he is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his two Ferrets “Tink” and “Castiel”.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Las Animas, CO. Pastor Charles Kelly will be Officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
