Obituary for Daniel Salvador "Danny-Boy" Montoya, Jr.
Daniel Salvador Montoya, Jr. of Rocky Ford, Colorado, entered into rest Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. He was born to Daniel and Jennie Montoya, May 23, 1962 in Rocky Ford, Colorado. He was 58 years of age.
Danny is survived by his children, Danielle Montoya, David (Sarah) Montoya, grandchildren, Kailey and Jacob Montoya, Lyric and Colton Cox all of Texas. He is also survived by his sisters, Betty Montoya, Barbara Montoya and brother, Arthur Montoya, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and Special Aunt, Molly Encinias.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and infant grandson, Levi Cox.
Danny was a talented crafter. He enjoyed crafting crosses and canes out of wood. Danny also enjoyed collecting large rocks to make crosses and team sport signs for family and friends. He was a talented carpenter. He worked on several houses in the Arkansas Valley. Danny had a big heart and would offer a helping hand to anyone in need.
