He was born to Jean and Sonny Jaramillo September 1, 1976 in La Junta, Colorado. Jose was 44 years of age.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Mary Jo Jaramillo of Pueblo West, Colorado, children, Joseph Jaramillo of Lakewood Colorado, Dominick (Karla) Jaramillo of Lamar Colorado, Mary Jaramillo of Walter Reed base in Maryland, grandchildren Catalya and Catalina Jaramillo, Mother In-law, Mary Ida Gallegos of La Junta, brother In-Law, Ricky Gallegos of Pueblo Sisters, Isabel Jaramillo of La Junta, Colorado, Julie (George Inguito) Jaramillo of Pueblo, Nieces and Nephews, Jessica (Christopher) Gallegos, Vanessa and Richard Gallegos, Ces Laureano, Kristen and Andrew Chavez, Sonny (Sunshine) Jaramillo, Cristal Jaramillo, Christobal Jaramillo, Josue Jaramillo, Lilianna Jaramillo, Vicente Jaramillo, Joann Jaramillo, John Jaramillo, Sabrina Jaramillo, Christina Jaramillo, great-neices and nephews, Arianna, Trinity, Joseph, Breanna, Olivia, Nevaeh C, Juliana, Jamir, Jocelyn.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Mary Jean and Sonny Jaramillo, grand-parents, Carmen and Felix Jaramillo, brother, John Jaramillo, and nephew. Alfie Jaramillo.
Jose worked as a conductor for the BNSF Railroad. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, grilling, gardening, crafting and watching Sponge Bob. He loved to read and knew the bible well. Jose was a sports fanatic and loved every sport and all the Colorado teams. He loved coaching his kids as they grew and was so proud of all their accomplishments.
He was a funny guy and liked to make everyone laugh but he also never sugar coated anything. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
