Obituary for George C. Montano
Georg C. Montano of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest, December 14, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was born to Julia and Juan Montano, April 15, 1934. He was 86 years of age.
George is survived by his special companion, Beatrice Baca of La Junta, Colorado, children, Alfred Baca of La Junta, Colorado, Patsy Tierney of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Barbara Jean (Leroy) Otero of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joyce Ann Baca of La Junta, Colorado Phyllis (Kiko) Vasquez of La Junta, Colorado, Phillip (Mary) Baca of Pueblo, Colorado and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sisters, Georgia Montano of La Junta, Colorado, Delores Salazar of Denver, Colorado. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Julia Montano, siblings, Ceperano Montano and Genevieve Luna,
George enjoyed riding his bike, repairing bikes for himself and many others, watching western movies and listening to Spanish music. He was also a fan of the Denver Broncos. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery in La Junta, Colorado. At 1:00 P.M.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
