Obituary for Theresa L. Encinias
Theresa L. “Terri” Encinias of La Junta, Colorado, peacefully entered into rest, surrounded by her loving family, December 23, 2022, in her home. She was born February 25, 1956, in Dodge City, Kansas. She was 66 years of age. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lewis Ray Encinias, children, Tammi M. (Tim Muniz) Encinias, Joidon (Charlie) Martinez, Lewis R. (Eva) Encinias, Eric Encinias, grandchildren, Sierra, Keegan, Jake, Krislynn, Jullian, Alexandria, Madison, Olivia, Giavonni, Paitan, Angelina, great grandchildren Easton, special dogs, Keydokey and Macaroni, brother, Leo (Eloisa) Ledesma, 2 nieces Gloria and Yolanda and one great niece Zaniyah. She is preceded in death by her parents, Angela and Jessie Ledesma and sister, Sophia Marroquine.
Terri enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, loud music, dancing, birdwatching and soda pop. She also loved watching the moon and looking at the stars, picking seasonal vegetables, especially chili. Her favorite holiday was Easter. She loved people and made friends easily. She gave everybody nicknames, but what she loved more than anything were her grandchildren.
