Obituary for Janice Eileen (McLeod) Kazar
Janice Eileen (McLeod) Kazar, of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest November 3, 2017 at the Sangre de Christo Hospice House in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born in Lawrence, Kansas, June 1, 1944. She was 73 years of age.
Janice is survived by her husband of 21 years, Donald Kazar, mother, Mary McLeod, two daughters, Wendi (Bryan) Williams and Joni (Ed) Patterson, grandchildren, Zachary(Majesta) Patterson, Joni Patterson, Chelsea (Cody) Amerine, Edward (Charlene) Patterson, and Cooper Williams, six great-grandchildren, William, Myles, Daniel, Scarlett, Eli and Asher. Also her beloved Doberman, Ali.
She is preceded in death by her father, James McLeod.Â
Janice married Donald Kazar, December 20, 1996.Â
Janice was an artist, she loved to paint, especially water colors and oil painting. She  was a collector of wolves and eagles. She was an avid Kansas University fan. She started working in 1985 at Kansas University in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching until her retirement.Â
