Lloyd Allen Welty of La Junta, Colorado entered into rest June 19, 2024, at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado.
Lloyd was born in Denver, Colorado, December 2, 1944, in Colorado, to Lottie and Franklin Welty. He was 79 years of age.
He is survived by his 6 children, Loren Carter, David (Ann) Welty, Michele (Jim) McKevly, Bill Welty, Kristi Hale and Frank Welty, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and sister, Lila Rasmussen, and Ex-wife Caroline (George) Scott, Various nieces and nephews
Lloyd is preceded in death by both of his parents and sister, Wilma Shirley.
He enjoyed working on model cars, camping, fishing, working on cars, road trips and just driving. He also enjoyed his westerns and cartoons and the 4th of July. He especially loved spending time with his family. Lloyd was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He will be missed by all those who knew him. As per family request there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
