Catalina Guerrero of La Junta, Colorado, entered into rest, November 20, 2018 in La Junta, Colorado.
She was born to Juan and Adelina Pantoya August 16, 1937 in Swink, Colorado. She was 81 years of age.
Catalina is survived by her children; Chris (Cindy) Guerrero of Denver, Colorado, Felicia Guerrero-Reid of Baltimore, Maryland, Andrew (Tina) Guerrero of Denver, Colorado, Salvador (Patricia) Guerrero of Denver, Steven (Pam) Guerrero of La Junta, many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Adelina Pantoya, husband Joe Guerrero, son Vincent Guerrero, brothers Joe and Johnny Pantoya.
Catalina loved to crochet, working in her yard and grooming her husband. She always spoiled all her children in her own special way and she made the very best tortillas in the world.
A Rosary will be held at 10:30 A.M. followed by an 11:00 A.M. Funeral Mass, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in La Junta.
A Committal will take place at the Cavalry Cemetery in La Junta following the Funeral Mass.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home.
