Roberta Maxine Herrera of Rocky Ford, Colorado, entered into rest in Pueblo, Colorado, June 7, 2019 at Park View Hospital.
She was born to Flora and Ben Baros June 20, 1948 in Manzanola, Colorado. She 70 years of age.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Pablo Herrera of Rocky Ford, Colorado, children, Jorge (Joann) Herrera of La Junta, Colorado, Grandchildren, Felisha Herrera of La Junta, Paul Herrera of La Junta, Becca (Sam) Vigil of Las Animas, Colorado, great grandchildren; Viviana Herrera, Javen Herrera, Natalia Herrera, Jordyn Herrera, Lilliana Herrera, Paul Jr. Herrera, Jazmae Herrera, brother, John (Martha) Baros, sister and Josie Arieta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Flora Baros, great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Josiah Herrera.
She worked at Dean pickle for over 28 years and was married to Pablo for over 55 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family in Manzanola. She also enjoyed taking her children to the Arkansas Valley Fair in Rocky Ford and to the Missouri days.
In 2018 she was the runner-up for the Rocky Ford Fair Parade and crowned queen of the Pioneer Nursing Care Center.
A 10:00 A.M. Rosary followed by a 10:30 Funeral Mass will be held Friday June 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Junta, Colorado.
