Obituary for Mary Helen Pino
Mary Helen Pino, of Rocky Ford, Colorado, has gone home to glory. She entered into rest, August 21, 2014. She was born in Las Animas, Colorado March 14, 1934 to Robert and Timo Valdez. She is survived by her husband Abenicio "Ben" Pino of 62 years of marriage. Her children, Michael L. Romano (Rex), Peggy A. Ruybal (Rick), Ronald A. Pino (Gisele), Gloria K. Roeske (Brad), and Abenicio Edward Pino (Helen) and her loving pet Tisha. Grandchildren, Rikki Ruybal, Dominick Romano, Danielle Estrada (Philip), Stacey Mosher (Jason) Alec Huddy and Anthony Romano. Great Granddaughters, Rachel Ann Hudson, Aaliyah Marie and Gemma Kay Mosher. She is also survived by brothers, Paul Jaquez, Robert Valdez Jr., Manuel Valdez, Henry Valdez and Leroy Valdez. Sisters: Josie Lovato, Delores Encinias and Sister-in-Law Priscilla (Pino) Cordova. We honor her father Robert Valdez Sr., Mother Timo Valdez and brother, Tom Valdez. Helen was involved with the following church organizations: Eucharistic Minister for St. Peter Catholic Church, Communion to Home Bound residents, Pilgrim Virgin, Lector, St. Dominic Circle, lead rosary and prayer, she was always helping Father set up mass at nursing homes, and she loved helping in the kitchen. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Services will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO. Father Paul Ekeh will be officiating Arrangements have been entrusted to the Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home
